A Direct Relationship Between Your Productivity & Your Connection With God

i have noticed this too many times and too consistently to wonder if it’s a coincidence.

the days i start by connecting with God, praying, reading His Word, and nurturing my own soul tend to be way more productive than days that i don’t. on the flipside, the days that i just rush into my to do list without first pausing to connect with God are the ones that i find myself spinning my wheels, struggling to complete tasks and move the ball forward.

just curious, anybody else notice this same thing?

  1. I have definitely noticed this is my life. I have been trying for many years to make time with God a priority, but decided to be super intentional about it since September. I have been intentionally making my quiet time with God and prayer time a priority and have tried really hard not to begin any part of my day before connecting in a meaningful way with God. I have definitely noticed that on those handful of occasions when I’ve rushed into my day thinking that my “to do” list was just too full to give God those first moments, that those were my least productive days. I truly believe that if we put our time with God first, He will always allow us to accomplish ALL that HE has for us to accomplish each day. It’s just frustrating how quickly I forget.
